Coaching for Business Development

Owner Managers and Management teams of Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SME's) are finding our coaching service to be a cost effective and highly rewarding investment. SME's are, by definition, 'lean organisations' in which managers have multiple responsibilities; they need to be able to think and act operationally as well as strategically; they need to ensure that 'business as usual' goes on without a hitch and harmonise that effort with growing and developing for the future. It is almost always a challenging situation and it is hard to maintain focus and direction.

Whatever the client needs to be thinking about, our process is flexible, works around their priorities, and takes their knowledge, experience, multiple responsibilities and ambitions into account.

The coaching process uses analytical and creative questioning techniques in order to really understand the presenting situation and, more importantly, to enable the client to think clearly before taking action. It may be to do tactical thinking so as to take advantage of an opportunity or to develop a solution to a business problem: it may be to think strategically about aspects of organisation development so as to be in the 'right shape' for the anticipated future. Each coaching session aims to identify a business development objective and create a plan to fulfil it.
